I dreamed thee my love-poem by Tutsie1

Last night I went to bed
In the still of night
Quiet and warm
There I lay dreaming thee my love

Your lips caressing
Your hands touched my skin
As soft as silk
As beautiful as a rose
I dreamed thee my love

You whispered in my ear
Like a soft breeze
Rushing waters
A running fountain
While we lay on the river bank
Enjoying that close embrace
I dreamed thee my love

Thoughts lay on nothing else
But you and I
We forgot the world about us
Bathing in love
Swimming in peace
Tangled against care and patience
Last night I went to bed
I dreamed thee my love.
